How does Trade-In work?

The Trade-In Program is a service that enables customers to sell their devices quickly, transparently, and securely, without the need to find a buyer themselves or arrange shipping.

The process begins with the customer completing a form available on the Platform under the "Buyback" button. In the form, the customer selects the product they wish to sell, including the manufacturer, model, storage capacity, color, and technical and visual condition. Based on the provided information, the system generates a preliminary buyback offer — the price the Partner is willing to pay for the device in the declared condition. The offer is presented in a clear and transparent way, so the customer knows exactly how much they will receive if the description matches the actual condition of the device after inspection. The customer can review the valuation and decide whether to accept or decline it. Accepting the offer initiates the sale process within the program.

The Seller sets up in their panel a list of devices they are willing to buy back, assigning a price for each model depending on one of six possible technical conditions — four functional and two non-functional. If the Seller’s offer is the most favorable and the customer accepts it, the order is automatically created in the Seller’s panel. From the moment the offer is accepted, the customer has 4 days to ship the device to the Partner. Upon confirming acceptance, they receive a free shipping label sent to their email address. Once the shipment is received, the Partner carries out a detailed technical and visual inspection of the product.

If, during the inspection, it turns out that the actual condition of the device differs from what was declared in the form (e.g., different specifications, visible damage, different model, color, or storage version), the Partner may present the customer with a counteroffer containing a revised valuation. The customer may accept the counteroffer, in which case the transaction will be completed under the new terms, or reject it — in which case the Partner will return the device without finalizing the buyback.

After a successful inspection — when the device matches the customer’s description or the new offer has been accepted — the payment is initiated.

It is important that, before sending the device, the customer logs out of all accounts (e.g., Google, iCloud) and removes any locks and personal data. This requirement also applies if the device is not functional. Devices that are bent or show signs of corrosion/oxidation will not be accepted. We recommend taking a photo of the device showing its current technical and visual condition before shipping.
